We are seeking an Oracle EPM Cloud Principal Consultant who combines deep functional expertise, strong industry specialization, and the ability to architect complex solutions across large-scale Oracle EPM Cloud implementations. As a Principal Consultant, you will serve as the firm’s go-to subject matter expert within FCCS and ARCS, guiding solution strategy, elevating delivery quality, and shaping best practices across engagements. You will lead complex workstreams, mentor teams, and influence project direction.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand client stakeholder goals and objectives to visualize what success looks like
  • Define the scope necessary to achieve client goals and objectives
  • Estimate the work effort, time and resources required to deliver the defined scope
  • Help clients align their business with Oracle’s leading industry processes
  • Provide Cloud delivery content for project plan and provides regular updates
  • Effectively communicate with clients up to and including the C-suite
  • Partner with clients to design and create prototypes on Oracle Cloud (understanding and communicating options and decision rationale)
  • Configure, document and test Oracle Cloud solutions, recording appropriate Oracle service requests and working them to closure
  • Identify risks, evaluate options, and recommend and execute the remediations to avoid project roadblocks
  • Coach and lead client and ArcLight project resources to complete their tasks with quality
  • Establish personal brand by meeting or exceeding commitments for schedule and quality
  • Continuously improve ArcLight’s delivery model and assets to provide the most value to customers while increasing project delivery efficiency
  • Grow skills to encompass a broader understanding of Oracle Cloud, and the sales and delivery processes
  • Deepen knowledge and skills in software industry trends, our clients’ industry, and the latest Oracle modules and features
  • Achieve and maintain Oracle Implementation certifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field, or its equivalent
  • 7+ years of implementation experience with Oracle EPM solutions such as Fusion and Hyperion
  • 4+ years of implementation experience with Oracle EPM Cloud modules such as Financial Consolidation and Close, Account Reconciliation, and Enterprise Data Management
  • 3+ years of implementation experience with Essbase
  • Experience integrating Oracle EPM Cloud with Oracle Cloud Financials and HCM
  • Knowledge of FP&A, financial close, and/or planning/forecasting business processes
  • Project management experience planning implementation activities for Oracle Cloud solutions
  • Functional experience implementing Oracle EPM Cloud with direct customer interactions. Hands-on activities you performed included facilitating design workshops, configuring Oracle Cloud following Oracle best practices, identifying application gaps, providing, and evaluating recommendations to address gaps, completing functional designs, providing Oracle Cloud process guidance and training, and test plans and execution
  • Provide overall implementation support with presenting complex ideas in a clear and concise manner, bug fixes, customer support. Communicate process and application trade-offs and recommendations for specific customer requirements and user stories
  • Desire to work in a creative problem-solving environment with attention to detail
  • Oracle Certifications in EPM modules
  • Able to effectively work in a remote model with customers and peers
  • Experience with Planning and Budgeting, IPM, and Profitability and Cost Management desirable

Work Environment & Travel:

  • Remote-first position for U.S.-based candidates
  • Ability to travel up to 25% for client on-site needs

Compensation & Benefits

Base compensation for this position ranges from $135,000 – 175,000 USD and will vary depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. Total compensation also includes an annual incentive compensation target of 20%, paid in quarterly installments.
