1. Redwood Experience

The Learn 25A release includes several Redwood enhancements that are aimed at improving the user experience for learners, managers, and administrators. A key example is the Catalog Visibility Enhancements for Self-Paced Learning feature, which allows administrators to make a self-paced offering private and visible to only those in specific specializations or communities. Other Redwood features, such as Retake a Completed Course, ease the learning process for learners by fostering a more flexible and personalized learning experience.

Administrators Can Make Self-Paced Learning Private
Learners Can Re-enroll in Previously Completed Courses

2. Generative AI

Generative AI is leveraged in the Learn 25A release in the form of the AI Assist feature. Learners and learning managers are able to utilize AI Assist for descriptions when requesting or recording an external learning. Additionally, administrators can use AI Assist to create descriptions and summaries when creating or updating self-paced learning items.

Requires Configuration

Oracle is merging the Oracle Learning and Oracle Grow apps into one that will be called Learning and Development. This allows for learners to more easily navigate between Grow, Learning Catalog, and My Learning. It also optimizes the administrator experience by reorganizing the Learning and Development landing page to include tasks from the Grow page.

5. Self-Paced Learning: Deactivate and Delete Content

Quick Notes:

Customer-Voted Enhancement

This feature gives the option to delete or deactivate self-paced learning content from the learning catalog. Previously, the only way to delete or deactivate content was by setting publish end dates. This enhancement improves the functionality of Learn for administrators and improves navigation and ease of use for learners.
