25C Update Features Covered:
- Redwood Experience
- Hide Enrollments from Managers
- Real-Time Completion Based on SCORM Content Status
- Classroom and Calendar Provider Automation
1. Redwood Experience
The 25C Learn Release includes several Redwood enhancements, which help to drive towards a more unified Redwood experience. One notable Redwood enhancement is the “Create Self-Paced Learning Improvement” feature. This feature improves productivity on the self-paced learning creation page by adding anchors that allow administrators to jump to different sections of the creation page.

Another notable Redwood feature, “Manage Reattempt Intervals on Self-Paced Learning,” allows administrators to set reattempt wait periods for self-paced SCORM and HACP content, letting them define how many failed attempts trigger a delay and how long learners must wait before retrying. This enhancement aligns the self-paced learning capabilities with existing course and offering capabilities.

2. Hide Enrollments from Managers
Quick Notes:
The “Hide Enrollments from Managers” feature in Oracle Learning 25C allows administrators to prevent managers from viewing their employees’ learning enrollments for sensitive topics, such as mental health. This enhancement adds privacy controls, letting HR provide resources on sensitive topics without revealing details to managers.

3. Real-Time Completion Based on SCORM Content Status
Quick Notes:
The new “Real-Time Completion Based on SCORM Content Status” feature allows completions to be automatically registered as soon as SCORM content reports a “completed” status, even if the learner closes the browser or loses connection. Previously, completion was only recorded if the learner exited properly using “Save and Close” or “I’m Done.” This change improves reliability and reduces user frustration by ensuring learning progress is captured accurately, even in cases of unexpected exits.
4. Classroom and Calendar Provider Automation
Quick Notes:
Learners can now get join links for calendar events and virtual meetings in near real time after self-enrolling in instructor-led offerings. There’s no longer any dependency on a scheduled process that runs at specified intervals. Instructors will receive the link in their booking event alert. This feature ensures that learners and instructors can more easily join a virtual instructor-led learning.
