- Single Accrual Balance for Multiple Assignments
1. Redwood Experience
Redwood is Oracle’s next-generation, unified user interface, built to enhance the overall user experience. While the Classic UI is still available for existing customers, Oracle strongly recommends transitioning to Redwood to take full advantage of the latest innovations – particularly those driven by Generative AI.
2. Generative AI
As you explore unlocking business value with Generative AI, take advantage of newly available AI Agents across key Oracle Cloud modules, such as Core HR, Onboarding, Recruiting, and Talent Management. These AI Agents support elevated decision-making, minimize manual tasks, and streamline daily operations – enabling your teams to work more productively and efficiently.
3. Redwood Experience for Absence Categories
Quick Notes:
The Absence Categories page was upgraded to deliver Redwood’s high-fidelity interactions, providing consistent experience and functionality across all Redwood pages.

4. Redwood Experience for Entitlement Agreements
Quick Notes:
The enhanced Absences and Entitlements tab displays the Shared Parental Leave (SPL) entitlement agreements. To access entitlements listed for the worker, click the Entitlement Agreements.

5. Single Accrual Balance for Multiple Assignments
Quick Notes:
Oracle has introduced a new Processing Level option called Primary Assignment, allowing only the primary assignment of a worker with multiple assignments to be enrolled in a plan. Absences from any assignment under the same legal employer will draw from the primary assignment’s plan balance. Retroactive processing after global transfer or loss of eligibility is not yet supported but will be included in a future release. If a primary assignment changes mid-absence due to an HR update, the absence will be automatically adjusted and end-dated one day before the change.
