We are seeking an experienced Oracle HCM Cloud Principal Implementation Consultant to lead the successful delivery of complex solutions and Oracle HCM Cloud implementations across a variety of industries. You will lead Oracle HCM Cloud workstreams, provide hands-on configuration guidance, drive best-practice decision-making, and serve as a trusted advisor to client stakeholders. You will play a key role in supporting sales initiatives, shaping projects, mentoring junior consultants, and building the right solutions for the customer. Responsibilities
Workstream Leadership & Functional Expertise
- Lead system demonstrations and process design workshops
- Lead the implementation of your assigned Oracle HCM Cloud workstream, providing expert level product and process guidance.
- Facilitate business process workshops, advising clients on the impacts and benefits of adopting Oracle’s modern best practice processes.
- Lead requirements gathering sessions and support clients in defining relevant processes, securing alignment and signoff on the proposed solution.
- Conduct process familiarization workshops to demonstrate configured functionality and validate design decisions.
Hands‑On Configuration & Solution Delivery
- Perform hands-on configuration within your primary Oracle HCM Cloud module(s), ensuring accuracy, scalability, and alignment with client requirements.
- Develop functional design documentation, configuration workbooks, and process flows.
- Support data migration activities, including mapping, validation, and testing.
- Collaborate with integration consultants to define functional requirements and support the build and testing of integrations with third party or custom systems.
Project Execution & Client Engagement
- Apply ArcLight’s implementation methodology consistently across all engagements.
- Support clients through all phases of testing, including test scenario development, execution, and issue resolution.
- Assist with production cutover planning and provide post-go-live support to ensure a smooth transition.
- Deliver work on time and on budget while maintaining ArcLight’s high standards of quality and client satisfaction.
- Mentor and review the work of less experienced team members, contributing to their growth and development.
Qualifications
Required
- Deep expertise in at least two of the following Oracle HCM Cloud workstreams:
- Workforce Deployment: Core HR, Workforce Modeling, Strategic Workforce Planning, Approvals, Health & Safety, HR Help Desk
- Talent Management: Oracle Recruiting Cloud, Journeys/Onboarding, Learning, Performance Management, Succession Planning, Communicate, Talent Review, Touchpoints & Surveys
- Workforce Management: Payroll, Time & Labor, Absence Management
- Total Rewards: Benefits, Compensation, Incentive Compensation
- Security: HCM Security, HCM Advanced Controls
- 6+ years of experience implementing Oracle HCM Cloud
- Proven experience leading large‑scale, multi‑module HCM Cloud implementations in a consulting environment.
- Strong understanding of HR business processes
- Demonstrated ability to lead workshops, gather requirements, and translate business needs into functional solutions.
- Exceptional communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver high quality outcomes.
Preferred
- Oracle HCM Cloud functional certifications.
- Experience with global or multi-country HCM deployments.
- Experience mentoring junior consultants or leading small teams.
- Familiarity with cross-module dependencies and upstream/downstream impacts.
- Familiarity with Waterfall and Agile delivery methodologies.

- Confident facilitator who can guide groups through complex decisions.
- Highly organized, with strong documentation and planning skills.
- Comfortable working in dynamic, fast-paced consulting environments.
Work Environment & Travel
- Remote-first position for U.S. or Canada-based candidates
- Ability to travel up to 25% for client on-site needs
Compensation & Benefits
Base compensation for this position ranges from $135,000 – $165,000 USD and will vary depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. The compensation also includes an annual bonus up to 20%, paid in quarterly installments.
