About Ascend 2024, Hosted by OHUG and OATUG
Ascend 2024 was a landmark event that brought together industry leaders, innovators, and Oracle enthusiasts from around the globe. The event aimed to foster collaboration, showcase cutting-edge technology, deliver educational sessions, hands-on labs, and inspire the next generation of leaders.
ArcLight’s involvement this year included hosting three informational sessions, sharing insights with other Oracle users at our booth, hosting a VIP happy hour, and connecting with other innovators at customer lunches and dinners.
Power Hour Super Sessions: A New Concept for Ascend
One of the most exciting parts of the conference was trying something new with four “Power Hour” sessions focused on Artificial Intelligence (AI). These sessions replaced the traditional opening keynote with options to learn about different aspects of AI.
The aim was to offer attendees a way to chart their own conference experience. The topics covered were the future of work, Oracle’s AI journey, how to empower your organization, and problem solving with virtual teams.
Hands-On Labs and Interactive Sessions: One of the Most Popular Parts of Ascend 2024!
These sessions were a highlight for many, offering hands-on learning experiences on topics like Redwood, Journeys, Grow/Skills, Mobile in Minutes, and more.
Engaging hands-on sessions with Oracle strategy leaders and experts provided an interactive platform for attendees to deepen their understanding and gain practical insights.
Ascend 2024 Partner Pavilion
Ascend’s Partner Pavillion featured cutting-edge technologies, innovative products, educational sessions, and product demonstrations.
Several startups also made a significant impact, presenting disruptive ideas that promise to shape the future of the industry.
Networking Opportunities at Ascend 2024
Throughout the conference, networking events facilitated meaningful connections among attendees – customers, partners, and Oracle.
Informal meetups allowed for more relaxed interactions, fostering a sense of community and collaboration.
Entertainment and Social Events at Ascend 2024
The Member Appreciation event was a spectacle, with DJ Scooby, with Marc Ramos running the annual Dance Off! The pre-event VIP Happy Hour hosted by ArcLight Consulting set the tone for the rest of the festivities.
There was plenty of space to spread out and enjoy each other, listen and move to the music, and enjoy wonderful libations and food.
