1. Redwood Experience

Oracle continues to add Redwood enhancements with each release for Absence Management.  The absences region in the local and global transfer page was re-created using the Redwood pages. The Redwood absence entry page has been further enhanced to support multiple warning messages.

Employees can donate accrued hours or days to the donation pool plan which are maintained as monetary fund by the payroll by configuring an absence plan of the Donation plan type. When employees require additional PTO hours, they can request more hours from donation pool.

3. Approval Comments Entry on Absence Planning

Quick Notes:

Managers can now enter a comment when approving or rejecting a single or multiple absence request from the Absence Planning Redwood page.

4. Enhanced Half-Day Absence Option

Quick Notes:

The ability to specify which half of the shift a worker won’t work during a half day absence has been enhanced further for repeating absences, absence bids, and absence entry by the administrator.
