The Talent Management 24D release includes several Redwood enhancements designed to improve user experience and functionality. Key updates include a modernized interface for career development and goal management, streamlined performance reviews with new templates and workflows, and enhanced tools for talent pools and succession planning. Additionally, there are improvements in learning and development integration, employee engagement surveys, recruiting tools, and advanced analytics and reporting. These enhancements aim to make talent management processes more efficient, intuitive, and aligned with organizational goals.
2. Generative AI
This release also includes several Generative AI enhancements aimed at improving user experience and efficiency. These enhancements leverage AI to provide more personalized and insightful recommendations, streamline workflows, and automate routine tasks. Key updates include AI-driven suggestions for career development and goal setting, automated performance review summaries, and intelligent candidate matching in recruiting. These features help organizations make more informed decisions and enhance overall talent management processes.
3. Redwood: Enhanced Career Roles Page in Opportunity Marketplace
Quick Notes:
This feature introduces new tools and functionalities to support employee career growth. It includes personalized career paths and development plans tailored to individual aspirations and organizational needs. Employees can now visualize their career progression and access resources to achieve their goals.
4. Redwood: Manager Takes Action on Multiple Performance Goals
Quick Notes:
Managers can select goals and choose to share or assign them to various individuals within the organization, including direct and dotted line reports. When assigning goals, managers can also allow assignees to edit the goal definitions. This enhancement streamlines the goal-setting process, making it more efficient and collaborative. Notifications are sent to individuals who receive shared or assigned goals, ensuring clear communication and accountability.
5. Assignment Status Criteria In Mass Action to Create Performance Documents
Quick Notes:
HR administrators can now create employee performance documents using a mass action process based on specific assignment statuses. For a given review period, administrators can select a performance document, specify the reason, choose the population, and optionally select assignment statuses. This flexibility helps minimize errors and ensures accurate processing of performance documents. Administrators can preview or immediately process the documents, streamlining the performance review workflow.
6. Talent Pools Redwood Experience
Quick Notes:
Users can add development goals using a new goal drawer panel, either from a library or by creating new goals. This supports the career growth of talent pool members.
Administrators can now view and create security profiles for talent pools, specifying access by business unit, department, or job family. This helps restrict access and manage security effectively. These enhancements streamline talent pool management and support organizational development.
7. Redwood: Custom Talent Rating Labels can be Changed on the Person Profile Type Page
Quick Notes:
This feature allows customization of field labels for custom talent ratings on the Person Profile Type page after switching from Responsive to Redwood UI. Since field label customizations don’t migrate automatically, this feature enables users to adjust these labels within the Redwood interface, ensuring consistency and clarity in talent ratings.
8. Redwood: Managers Assign and View Goals for Indirect Reports
Quick Notes:
Managers can view and assign goals to their indirect reports. By navigating to the Team Goals Center and using the Switch Team button, managers can see and manage the goals of their indirect reports. This includes the ability to assign goals to indirect reports, even allowing for goal definition edits. This enhancement streamlines goal management, ensuring continuity and oversight, especially when direct managers are unavailable.
