1. Ability to Forfeit Plan Balances

Ability to configure absence plans to forfeit plan balances on loss of eligibility, on transfer to new legal employee, and on termination.


2. Pay Rate Date Configuration Options for Accrual Plans

There is a new option in the Rates section, under the Entries and Balances tab of the accrual plan setup page called Rate Date Rule to specify whether the absences consuming carryover amounts should be paid using the worker’s current rate, or their rate as of the carryover date.


3. Support for Unlimited Concurrent Absences

Ability to configure absence types to support unlimited concurrent absences.


4. Self Service Qualified Entitlement Display

Quick Notes:

Ability to configure qualification plans to enable the display of qualified entitlements in a new tab on the Redwood Absence Balance page. There are two new fields called Worker Balance Display and Manager Balance Display in a new section called Balance Display under the Plan Attributes tab of the qualification plan setup page.


5. Improved Accrual Processing for Retro Absences
