1. Redwood Experience
The 25A Global Human Resources release delivers several Redwood enhancements that streamline the employment lifecycle and improve user experience within the application. Some key features include the addition of Redwood pages for Reporting Establishments and Grade Ladders using the Visual Builder Studio (VBS) and the integration of Oracle Recruiting in Redwood Position pages.
Additional improvements have been made to Guided Journeys processes, employment processes, document record pages, and search functions and filters to make them more efficient and user-friendly. Update 25A will also deliver certain older Redwood pages as enabled by default.
2. Generative AI
The 25A Global Human Resources release also delivers several Generative AI enhancements designed to increase user productivity by automating certain tasks and offering aid in others. In this release, Generative AI capabilities are now available to issue comments or generate descriptions for documents in the Document Records page. Additional AI functionality has also been added to Journeys pages: Generative AI can now be used to create Journeys and Tasks, and AI Assist is a new AI Agent task that allows for direct interaction between employees and the AI platform.
3. Enhanced Rich Text Editor on Redwood Journey Pages
Quick Notes:
There is now a wider variety of text features and elements available when configuring text content on Redwood Journey Pages in the rich text editor, applying to both journeys and tasks. Some of the new elements you can utilize include bullet lists, images, links, and tables, greatly enhancing users’ capabilities when creating content in Journeys.
4. View and Unarchive Archived Document Records
Quick Notes:
Archived document records can now be viewed and unarchived within the Archived Document Records page, accessible through the Archived Document Records action under My Client Groups. Searching for a document requires at least one person or document type criteria, and viewing and unarchiving documents requires functional privileges. You can unarchive a single document or multiple documents at a time, allowing you more flexibility and capability when managing documents.
5. Prepare for Discontinuation of Support for Allocated Checklist REST Resource in Update 25C
Quick Notes:
Oracle is discontinuing support for the Allocated Checklist REST resource in Update 25C. Users looking to continue using this resource will need to make the switch over to the Worker Journeys REST resource, which already exists within the application.
