1. Redwood Experience

With Oracle’s latest quarterly release, the Redwood Experience continues to evolve, offering users an enhanced experience. The introduction of new Time and Labor features within the HCM system have a significant overall impact:

Calendar enhancements now improve the readability of shifts, events, and holidays, making it easier for users to navigate. Additionally, the Redwood mobile time card has also been upgraded, providing more functionalities and actions. Users will also notice enhancements to Redwood time cards, aligning closely with the functionality of Classic and Responsive time cards. These updates work together to deliver a more intuitive and seamless user experience.


2. Generate Time Cards Process Enhancements

Users can now generate time entries based on worker schedules using the “Generate Time Cards” process and “Generate Time Card Using Scheduled Hours” option to pull the correct published schedule. Additionally, workers can take advantage of the new “Generate Entries Using Schedule” action to easily add time entries directly from their schedule.

3. Attendance Tracking Introduction

Attendance tracking is the latest feature added to Oracle Time and Labor. It includes four customizable attendance rule templates, which can be tailored to your company’s legal and corporate policies: Tardy, Leave Early, Unplanned Absence, and No Show or Absence. Time and labor administrators and managers can define rules based on these templates using the new Workforce Management Rule Sets quick action.

4. Team Schedule Page in Redwood

Quick Notes:

Line managers can now view the new Redwood team schedules through the Team Schedules quick action. The schedule provides an overview of team schedules, absences, conflicts, and holiday information. Additionally, the Redwood Team Schedule page can be displayed in a 4 Weeks format, helping the line managers stay informed about current and upcoming events.

5. Time Card Field and Layout Enhancement: Exclude Option

Quick Notes:

When creating Time Card fields, users can now exclude specific roles from viewing certain attributes on their time cards. After adding the time card field to the time entry layout the Users column confirms which roles are excluded. This enhancement offers greater flexibility in customizing the Redwood time card for different roles.
