1. Redwood Experience

Oracle continues to add Redwood enhancements for Benefits with each of its releases. Five features introduced with this release are Redwood features that need to be enabled. These new features offer a modern look and feel, and fewer clicks with better performance. You can take advantage of the cohesiveness throughout the application with these new pages.


2. Enable Redwood Experience for the New Benefits Activity Center

With this enhancement, Oracle has introduced the new Benefits Activity Center created in the Redwood Toolset’s Visual Builder Studio. The redesigned benefits activity center replaces the existing benefits service center adding new features to person search attributes, saved searches, and filters. This feature is based on Elasticsearch to provide a more modern search experience with new features that help streamline the benefits administrator’s tasks by improving efficiency, reducing manual effort, and enhancing the overall user experience.


3. Enable Redwood Experience for Enrollment Overrides Page in Benefits Summary

This enhancement includes new enrollment override functionality within the benefits summary page recreated in the Redwood Toolset’s Visual Builder Studio. This feature introduces enhanced functionality to streamline benefits administration tasks, delivering an improved and more intuitive experience.


4. Enable Benefits Pending Actions Alert

This enhancement allows you to use the standard alerts functionality to send automatic notifications to benefits participants for their outstanding pending actions. It reduces the need for Benefits administrators to send manual communications and thereby saves time.


5. Explore the New Redwood Enhancements to the Self-Report a Life Event Page

With this new Redwood enhancement, you can now choose which self-service groupings to display on the self-report a life event page. The self-service grouping display text on the self-report a life event page can be changed to fit your needs. The Need Help? Contact Us region on the self-report a life event page can be hidden or you can personalize it to meet your needs.


6. Explore the New Validation Rules in Visual Builder Studio for the Benefits Redwood Contact Pages

This enhancement allows you to personalize the Redwood benefits contact page using validation rules in Visual Builder Studio. To ensure your employees enter the required data to meet your requirements, you can now create simple or complex validation rules.

  • My Client Groups > People to Cover
  • Me > Benefits > Before You Enroll
  • Me > Benefits > Enrollment Page
  • Me > Benefits > Report a Life Event
