2. Enable Parallel Processing

The Create Cost Accounting Distributions process is now eligible to have transactions spread across multiple subprocess that calculate in parallel to achieve much higher throughput. After you opt in to the feature, you can use the Maximum Number of Workers indicating the maximum number of subprocesses that would be used.

Create Cost Accounting Distributions

The Reports Processor stage of Create Cost Accounting Distributions also has parallel processing as an option. This will enable up to 20 subprocess to spawn at once to process costs and transactions in parallel.
