25B Update Features Covered:
- Redwood Experience
- Generative AI
- Exclude Individual Compensation Plans, Options Using Business Rules
- Adjusted FTE Introduction in Salary Calculations
1. Redwood Experience
The 25B enhancements continue improving the compensation experience with a modernized interface. The Redwood Experience for Download Salaries expands selection criteria and preview options, while Run Rates-based Salary Process gets a dedicated Redwood page for smoother administration. Progression Rules now have a separate management page, improving visibility and efficiency. Enhancements to Grade Ladders introduce support for ladders without steps and approval workflows. Additionally, save functionality is now available in Redwood Salary and Individual Compensation Flows, and Total Compensation Statements can be accessed directly from My Compensation.
2. Generative AI
Oracle 25B introduces AI Assist for Individual Compensation Plan Instructions, leveraging AI to generate clear, tailored guidance based on plan configurations. This feature helps administrators refine or create instructional content efficiently, reducing manual effort and enhancing user comprehension. Currently available in the US and Canada data centers, AI Assist aligns with Oracle’s broader AI-driven strategy to improve task efficiency and decision-making in Compensation management.

This enhancement reduces administrative burden, improves instruction quality, and enhances the overall user experience.

3. Exclude Individual Compensation Plans, Options Using Business Rules
Quick Notes:
Oracle 25B introduces a client-side exclusion feature allowing organizations to dynamically filter individual compensation plans and options using business rules, rather than relying solely on eligibility and plan access settings. This enhancement improves flexibility in compensation administration by ensuring that only relevant plans and options appear based on proposed data. Currently supported in key Redwood HR and Compensation flows, this feature helps prevent conflicting eligibility rules while refining the compensation selection process. Future updates will expand support to additional workflows.

4. Adjusted FTE Introduction in Salary Calculations
Quick Notes:
Oracle 25B enhances salary calculations by allowing annual salary and annualized full-time salary to use adjusted FTE instead of standard FTE, providing greater flexibility in managing statutory FTE requirements. This update ensures more precise compensation calculations across Redwood salary and compensation history pages, HCM Data Loader, REST APIs, and salary notifications. Organizations can enable this feature through a profile option, with future updates extending support to additional compensation processes, salary simulations, and reporting tools for a more comprehensive FTE-based salary management approach.
This feature gives you better flexibility when managing your statutory FTE requirements.
