1. Redwood Experience
The 25B release brings significant enhancements to the Redwood user experience, offering a cleaner, more intuitive interface across the Time and Labor module. Key improvements include better integration of absence plan balances within timecards, ensuring users can quickly review their available leave without navigating away. Timecard validation warnings are now more prominently displayed, helping employees correct potential issues before submission. Additionally, scheduled hours are visible even on blank timecards, providing clarity on expected work schedules. The ability to export time data to Excel further improves record-keeping and reporting efficiency.
2. Redwood Team Schedule Enhancements for Line Managers

Line managers now have an improved Redwood Team Schedule interface, providing enhanced filtering and sorting options to manage team schedules effectively. The redesigned layout allows managers to quickly adjust shift allocations and gain better visibility into workforce availability. This feature also integrates with absence management, making it easier to track leave requests and coverage gaps.


3. Hide Save Actions on Redwood Time Cards

Administrators can now hide the ‘Save’ button on Redwood Time Cards to enforce stricter time entry policies. This ensures employees submit complete and accurate time records instead of saving partial entries that may be forgotten. By preventing incomplete submissions, organizations can reduce payroll processing errors and improve compliance with time-tracking regulations.
This enhancement gives you added flexibility to define how people working on Redwood time cards can save and submit them.

4. Support Day Unit of Measure in Time and Labor Subject Areas

Organizations can now use the Day unit of measure in Time and Labor reporting, enhancing BI analytics capabilities. This allows businesses to generate more accurate reports based on full workdays rather than just hourly tracking. This feature is particularly useful for compliance monitoring and payroll audits, as it aligns with regulatory requirements in certain regions.
5. Securing the Delete and Submit Actions for Redwood Time Cards

This enhancement adds security controls to restrict who can delete or submit Redwood Timecards. Administrators can now configure role-based access permissions, ensuring that only authorized personnel can modify time entries. This prevents accidental deletions and ensures that submitted time records remain intact for payroll processing and compliance audits.

Organizations can now control whether users can delete timecards from the Redwood Team Timecards or Existing Time Cards pages using newly introduced privileges. Additionally, administrators can continue to restrict the Delete action to timecards that meet specific status conditions or time entry ranges, using worker time entry profiles.

These enhancements improve your ability to disable and enable you to submit and delete actions according to your timecard policies.
